Brewster Theater Company is located at The Theater at Drew Methodist Church at 28 Gleneida Avenue in Carmel, NY. We have plenty of parking in the rear of the building. ​

Robin has been dancing since she was 3 years old. At 5 she taught the ballet barre to her Kindergarten classmates. Robin went on to dance in dozens of musical theatre productions around the country. In 2004 Robin began teaching preschoolers and received her masters degree in early childhood education in 2007. In 2011 she moved on to teaching college courses in literacy and child development and received her Doctorate degree in Educational Psychology in 2017. She currently works at the Hunter College School of Education training the next generation of educators.

Description:
Does the idea of being asked to come back and “move” strike terror in your heart? Do you “move” pretty well now, but would like to do better?  Would you like to learn and practice some standard steps used by choreographers?  If so, please join Robin O’Leary where we will “Start at the very beginning, a very good place to start!” and by the end you’ll say “God, I’m a dancer! A dancer dances!”  Well maybe not, but we’ll definitely have “A Marvelous Time!”

Please bring dance or character shoes and wear comfortable clothing that’s not too baggy. Ladies - bring character or dance heels if you have them. If you don’t have dance shoes, sneakers are ok - just make sure the tread isn’t too sticky.  All levels are welcome.
