Now in our 24th, The Brewster Theater Company is growing in leaps and bounds! 


Our 2023 season was by far our best and brightest. We produced a record seven main stage productions, which included two original shows.  Over 2,600 people from 120 cities and towns were in attendance and over two hundred actors, stagehands, musicians, and volunteers participated in our programs.  Our Social Media pages and website receive over 35,000 views monthly. 

Our 2024 season will continue to build on our success.  It will include six main-stage productions, as well as, new workshops and we are planning for a Children’s Theater Camp.  It is an exciting time in our theater!

Brewster Theater Company is the only full-performance, community theater in eastern Putnam County.  Our theater is located at  Drew Methodist Church on Route 52 in Carmel and provides year-round entertainment and volunteer opportunities.  Our shows include full sets, costumes, and orchestras with elaborate technical detail and staging.  They are inspiring and thought-provoking.

Sponsoring a show or a season is a great way to leverage your brand.  Our high-quality performances attract audience members from all areas of Putnam County, as well as, Westchester, Dutchess, and Connecticut.  Our shows will promote your business all year long!

Our 100-seat auditorium had many sold-out performances and runs in 2023.  Your advertisement would immediately acknowledge that you support the arts and the many people who participate in our productions and attend our shows. Every mainstage production has a printed playbill that is distributed to all our audience members.

We are always excited to bring live theater to Putnam County, but our mission is not possible without sponsors.  Our dedicated volunteers spend thousands of hours a year creating our shows, however, our expenses are many and familiar, including rent, equipment leases,  repairs, musicians, and many more.  A typical show can cost $5,000, and musicals often exceed $15,000.  Our ticket prices remain a great value for our community and are kept at affordable levels with the assistance of many valuable sponsors.
