Synopsis

Nick Cristano, a single Italian-American guy from Hoboken, New Jersey has dutifully eaten Sunday dinners with his grandparents for years. This routine is suddenly shaken when he announces he has been offered his dream job and is moving to Seattle. His grandparents, desperate to keep la famiglia together, begin to scheme to make him stay. Take a seat at the table for this hilarious and touching story of a young man’s struggle to balance his Italian heritage and love of family with his sense of individuality.

“Over the River and Through the Woods”

The Brewster Theater Company (BTC) announces cast selection for its February 2006 production of Joe DiPietro’s “Over the River and Through the Woods.” This hilarious and touching play follows the story of Nick Cristano, a young Italian-American man struggling to balance his Italian heritage and love of his grandparents with his sense of individuality. The cast is as follows:
