PRODUCER, AND SEE MY NAME IN LIGHTS!"
The Brewster Theater
Company is seeking volunteers to act as Producer to two upcoming productions:
Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy
Dean scheduled for performances in October 2009 and
The Lion in Winter scheduled for
performances in December 2009.
Producers may not appear on stage, but in many ways they are the true 'stars' of
a show. If your are organized, have an eye for detail and good people
skills...then you're right for the job. Don't be scared off by lack of
experience...mentoring in this role can be made available by experienced
producers from the BTC Board.
The role of Producer is key to the success of good, solid show, and involves:
 |
Managing the production budget - keeping track of expenses and working with
production resources to find cost effective solutions |

Delegating, coordinating and tracking activities
in support of the production including publicity, house, set construction,
tech, costume, etc.

|
Interacting with the cast to resolve any questions
or issues |
|
Acting as liaison to the BTC Board |
