Brewster Theater Company Offers Performing Opportunity for Middle School and High Schoolers
The Brewster Theater Company announces registration for its youth theater workshop. Open to students in grades 6 – 12, the workshop is under the direction of Rebecca Rabinowitz.
As part of the workshop, a number of short plays will be rehearsed and performed giving students an opportunity to practice character development and improve their acting skills. The workshop will culminate with a performance on the evening of April 12th.
Rehearsals will be Saturdays and some Sundays beginning in March. The first rehearsal will consist of a read-through and assignment of parts on Saturday, March 1st from 2-4 pm at the Brewster Library. Other rehearsals and the performance will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, on the corner of Michael Nuener Blvd and Prospect St in Brewster, NY.
The cost for the workshop is $80 for BTC members and $100 for non-members. This fee includes an individual BTC membership.
The registration period is Feb. 9th through the 24th and limited to the first 15 participants.
