The Brewster Theatre Company will present its fall production of “Deathtrap” beginning on October 27th at Drew United Methodist Church in Carmel, NY. Written by Ira Levin, “Deathtrap” holds the record for the longest running comedy-thriller on Broadway.

BTC will present one of the most popular successes of recent Broadway history.  This ingenious play offers a rare and skillful blending of two priceless theatrical ingredients:  gasp-inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter.  Dealing with the devious scheming of a writer of thrillers whose recent shows have been flops, and who is prepared to go to any lengths to improve his writings.  “Deathtrap” provides twists and turns and sudden shocks in abundance that holds the audience spellbound until the very last moment.  The movie of the same name starred Michael Caine and Christopher Reeves.

The show is directed by Kate Valiska and produced by Joe Manuele.  The cast includes Brad Cassini, Nic Anthony Calabro, Barbara Disraeli, Michele Leigh, and Stephen Ross.  

The show dates and times are October 27,28,29, November 3,4,5 at 8:00pm and October 29 and November 5 at 2:00pm. Doors open 45 minutes before each show.
